UniGroup Acquires Sterling Relocation
One of the World's Largest Commonly Branded Network of Moving Service Providers Adds Global Relocation Solutions
ST. LOUIS (July 1, 2014) UniGroup parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit and other leading global relocation and transportation companies has acquired U.K. based Sterling Relocation. The sale closed June 30.
The acquisition of Sterling provides UniGroup with a full range of relocation consulting, assignment management, immigration, destination and supply chain management services to better meet its clients needs. UniGroup provides Sterling with resources to expand its capabilities and service offerings. Together, UniGroup and Sterling represent one of the largest global networks of relocation and moving services with 27 regional offices and more than 1,000 local service providers in more than 180 countries on six continents.

Former owners Rupert Morley and Jeremy Beglin will continue to serve as Sterlings president and vice president of sales and business development for UniGroup global relocation services respectively.
